Biography
American writer, author of the Mr. Moto spy stories and winner of the Pulitzer Prize in 1938 for the satirical novel " The Late George Apley" 1922-1935 He was married in 1922 to Christina Davenport Sedgwick 1897-1951 and later to Adelaide Ferry Hooker 1903-1963
