Genesis Codina (b June , California, USA) is an actress and singer. Genesis began her baby steps in her singing career at the age of seven (7) years old in the ranchera/mariachi music genre. At age ten (10) she made her acting debut in the feature film, Street Kings with actors, Keanu Reeves and Chris Evans, among others. It has been several years of struggles, sacrifices and many, many performances from small community events to prestigious tv shows. Now, at the age of thirteen (14) years old, Genesis is an accomplished ranchera singer and an amazing bilingual pop vocalist . She has captured the admiration of many fans throughout the U.S. as she is recognized by her participation in television shows such as Univision&#x;s International tv show Sabado Gigante and most recently in the televised latin talent competition Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento where she competed with more than 1, contestants (mostly adults) for the grand prize of $, Genesis did not win the competition but she was successfully among the top 5 finalists. Genesis has also been honored by the Best Mariachi in the World&#x;Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan as she competed in the prestigious National competition, the Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza in San Antonio, Texas and won first place in her category. One of Genesis&#x; most recent accomplishment includes her participation in the Kids Helping Kids &#x; Project Haiti concert where she was invited to perform along with today&#x;s hottest young Hollywood stars to raise funds for God&#x;s Littlest Angels Orphanage in Haiti. Genesis continues to prepare herself vocally and as an actress, with the aspiration of having new and greater opportunities in films, commercials and of course, the music industry.
